Tonight in Pattaya is an independent, automated guide to nightlife, live music, festivals and sport happening in Pattaya, Thailand. Updated four times a day, every day.

What we do

We aggregate Pattaya event listings from public news sources, official venue calendars, and verified annual festivals into one searchable, mobile-first interface. Everything is free to use and free to subscribe to.

Where we cover:

Nightlife — clubs, cabaret, rooftop bars, Walking Street venues
Live music — concerts, gigs, jazz nights, open-mic events
Festivals — fireworks, Songkran, Loy Krathong, food & cultural events
Sport & fitness — Muay Thai, marathons, sailing, tournaments

Methodology

Our crawler runs every six hours (06:00, 12:00, 18:00, 00:00 ICT) and pulls events from a curated list of public RSS feeds and HTML pages. Source list is published openly at /sources with live yield statistics — we believe in transparency.

Each event passes through:

Date validation — we extract event dates from titles, content, and structured data, including holiday names ("New Year's Eve" → Dec 31)
Past-recap detection — articles celebrating completed events are filtered out (look for "kicked off", "praises", "concluded", etc.)
Categorization — based on keyword matching against our category taxonomy
Venue extraction — recognized Pattaya venues are tagged for landing pages
Deduplication — events with the same title and date across sources merge into one

Recurring venue events (cabaret shows, weekly Muay Thai cards) are hand-curated from official venue sites. Honesty matters: we mark each event as verified (confirmed via official source) or venue schedule (regular operation, verify before going).

What we are not

We are not a ticketing platform — we link out to original sources and venue sites for tickets. We are not affiliated with any venue, hotel, or tour operator. We do not run paid promotions or accept money for placement. There is no advertising on the site.

Submit an event

Got an event we missed? Anyone can submit through /submit. Submissions are moderated — usually approved within 24 hours.
