Walking Street: the honest guide

Pattaya's most famous (and most photographed) strip. Here's what it actually is, what's worth your time, and what to skip.

The basics

Walking Street is a 500-meter pedestrian-only zone in South Pattaya, closed to traffic from 18:00 onwards. Runs from Bali Hai Pier to the south end of Beach Road. About 100 venues — a third are go-go bars, a third are restaurants and live-music bars, the rest are clubs and street-food stalls.
